Investment Map focuses on data broken down by industry. However, industry-specific FDI data are not always available or take some time to be reported or collected. Therefore, Investment Map presents the most recent broken-down FDI data, even if more updated information, e.g. total FDI stocks or total FDI inward investment, at a more aggregated level is available.
We would very much like to invite partners and users to inform us on the availability of more recent industry-specific FDI data, and to send us the data or provide us with the contact details of the data provider in their country.
The table displays the last year for which data is available in Investment Map.

Historical series of total FDI for all countries can be viewed in the Annex B of the World Investment Report or from the Foreign Direct Investment Statistics subsite of UNCTAD. For the countries only reporting total FDI, see also the methodology for estimating the data.
